Black screen; likely this didn't receive a so much as modicum of playtesting then. Two sentences of feedback is already too generous of me.

The bare minimum requirement of a game to meet basic functionality is the ability to play it at all. I tried several times but after this loads up you are incapable of doing literally anything. The only sign of interaction that this isn't just a static image with music overlaid is what appears to be the protagonist aimlessly shifting in place in the upper lefthand corner when using the controls. To put it simply, this game is broken. Though it will not be enough to save this, I give you a ½ star out of consolation for what appears to be an otherwise lovely 16-bit style. Try playtesting a bit more next time.

As someone with schizophrenia and unspecified psychotic disorder, I really enjoyed this game because it felt like a 2d platformer version of my fugues. Very cool aesthetic and creature designs, love it (:

An unforgettable classic. The art style, setting, characters, and humor are just so iconic and loveable. Been a fan of the game for years now. In and of this, however, the gameplay itself is relatively simple, yet equally loveable, with a fair bit of challenge escalating during the boss fights, Flip-D in particular.

My favorite part has always been the final showdown with Sunchips in the bad part of town. His theme song is so catchy!

Thanks!

I got "Woman UFC Fighter". Kinda fun, but is it rigged so you always get something goofy?

Badran responds:

Lol.. thank you for playing.. no it's not rigged.. there are good results, you just have to dig deep with the choices lol

None of the controls work when I press them but it still looks pretty cool so far.

Likely to be one of the most popular games on Newgrounds.

Really fun! Nice challenge, too. The repeating soundtrack didn't really bug me. The enemies, however, were what I might call " less than adequate" for the scenario. What I might have done is added a flying one, an indestructible one, one that fires projectiles and a rather large one that can only be defeated with a charged shot like in Alien Hominid. Also, [hint] you have to click the door thing reached by riding the platform and then click the coin. (I thought you had to press down while on it like the portal, so you could go through, so that wasted my time.)

Good job! Sometimes I use Sploder when I get bored, too. The Retro Game maker is by far the best, except in the platformer maker you can change the original designs to your own sprites.

Yeah its a fun change

I absolutely DESPISE Flappy Bird but I won't be a dick about it, it's 2015, and I'm a nice guy. I took off half a star just because it's a little odd how the pipes and ground expand out of the border. I don't know if that was intentional or what, but it gets on my nerves.

I am a sick wicked gnarly dingus who does stuff, draws pictures, and plays a mean keyboard. Also I have a crab. I rock.
